WHO ARE IAG?
The Independent Advisory Group (IAG) was formed in response to the need to improve the trust and confidence in the Police by ethnic minorities� communities and other vulnerable groups.
The Independent Advisory Group consists of members from Newham communities and the voluntary sector.
IAG IS INDEPENDENT OF ANY PARTICULAR ORGANISATION
WHAT IAG DO?
- IAG independently advise the Police in Newham on matters relating to policing issues affecting ethnic minorities and other vulnerable groups.
- IAG give advice and support to members of ethnic minority communities and vulnerable groups.
- IAG try to raise awareness of the role of the public and the Police in tackling community problems.
